What Is the Real Difference Between Deep Foamjection & Polyurethane Concrete Lifting
The difference between Deep FoamJection and basic polyurethane concrete lifting is the depth of injection. Specialized equipment and materials are required that complement current methods. What is the installation process?
Installed as a liquid by injecting a high-density structural polymer directly into the void area through multiple 1/2 inch metal rods (without excavating the soil) at various depths covering the entire footprint in need of reinforcement. The foam then saturates into the soil and travels the path of least resistance until it is fully expanded. Much like a man made root system, once installed the DeepJection Polyurethane foam will exponentially improve the weight bearing capacity of the subgrade and bind it together and the polymers aggressively seek out the voids and push out any present water. The polymer expands throughout the voids and reestablishes the weight-bearing capacity of the soil while preventing future undermining. Additionally, if any structures have settled it is possible for the structure to be lifted and leveled back to original grade.
